Highway Speed Moment
According to Matthew 22:21 - Jesus indicates that one should "Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's."
And Romans 13:1 indicates that everyone should be subject to governing authorities because God institutes the governing authorities.
Titus 3:1 is Paul's reminder to Titus that everyone should be submissive to rulers and authorities.
Thus, one could easily see that Jesus would obey - and encourage his followers to obey - all of the Traffic Laws, which are in place to protect the health and welfare of the people. This applies to the Speed Limits on our Nation's Highways.
Jesus would never exceed the Speed Limit on a Highway - in any lane that he was in - particularly the left lanes. The picture below may be downloaded in a PDF format - so that everyone may make copies - and place the copies in places of importance. The idea behind the poster is to remind folk that followers of Jesus, when they are driving under the speed limit - particularly in the left hand lanes - are ONLY leading a Jesus-like life!
